Do you repair most makes?
Yes — cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes. We have a lot of our own Toyota and Lexus hybrids, so we are sometimes taken for a hybrid-only workshop — we are not. We run the car workshop at ul. Balicka 100 in Kraków Bronowice; mechanics, electrics, bodywork and tyres we do in-house. We confirm the model when we take the car in.
Do I need to book for a tyre change?
Outside the peak of the season, usually not. A tyre change in Kraków takes one visit with us, and we usually hand over a set of four wheels the same day. In October and April the slots in the city run out within a few days — then call in the morning and book a time.
How much does a tyre change cost?
A set of four wheels with balancing: 185 zł on steel rims, 200 zł on alloy rims up to 16 inches, 220 zł on 17–18 and 270 zł on 19–20. Balancing a single wheel 99 zł, puncture repair 75 zł, storage of a set for the season 185 zł.
Will I get a quote before the repair, and a car for the time it takes?
We give the price before the work: after the diagnosis, the scope and the quote for you to accept, and if something extra turns up along the way, we call and ask. If the repair takes longer than one day, a replacement car from the fleet — in line with availability, a paid service.
How much does a tow truck cost in Kraków?
Towing within Kraków starts from 250 zł. A run outside the city, transport of a car you have bought and hire of the tow truck on its own we quote over the phone, before the truck sets off. You know the rate before the callout, not after it.
When should I call a tow truck, and when should I drive in myself?
Call for the tow truck if, after a collision, the car is formally no longer allowed on the road, if it will not start, or if it is standing on a flat tyre with no spare wheel. Our roadside assistance works around the clock, seven days a week, and the flatbed drives straight onto our yard — one trip instead of two.
How much do detailing and upholstery cleaning cost?
Upholstery cleaning from 500 zł, paintwork polishing from 1000 zł, window tinting from 700 zł, car valeting from 650 zł. We give the exact price after looking the car over under the inspection lamp, because it depends on the condition of the paintwork and the interior.
Will you do the detailing straight after the repair?
Yes, the valeting studio stands on the workshop site at ul. Balicka 100. After the repair the car drives a few dozen metres onto the bay, instead of going to a second place across the city. One trip, one conversation, one collection.
I want to drive for an app, but I have neither a car nor a licence.
That is the most common case. We pick a car from the fleet, prepare the documents and connect your account to the apps. Apps: Uber, Bolt, FREENOW, Xtakometr and other taxi firms. The payout goes out every week, on a fixed day.
How much does settlement with a partner cost?
The fee is 80 zł a week with three apps and 100 zł if a taximeter is added. On the weekly statement: turnover, the fee and every deduction separately. We go through the first statement together, item by item.
How much does renting a car for taxi work cost?
A car with the licence and the licence extract from 500 zł a week, deposit from 500 zł. We also rent cars in Kraków from 75 zł/day on a monthly rental and long term, at a rate lower than the weekly one. Servicing the car is on our side.
Residence card and driving licence exchange: how long does it take and what does it cost?
No one guarantees the office deadline, and we do not either. We look after a complete set of documents, a correct application and a reply to a request from the office on time, because missing that deadline is the most common cause of a refusal. Handling a residence card from 1800 zł, driving licence exchange from 400 zł, plus the official fees.
